The terms you agree to when you use epono, and how we look after your information.
- Terms of Service
These Terms are the agreement between you and epono. You buy a service from us, we are responsible for arranging it, and we arrange it through independent local providers. We never send money on your behalf. You are responsible for making sure that using epono is lawful where you live. Canadian law governs this agreement.
- Privacy Policy
We collect only what we need to arrange care for your family, we tell you where it goes, and we never sell it. Some of it is sensitive — addresses of people who may be elderly, and sometimes health matters — so we protect it accordingly. Some of our service providers are outside Canada, and Local Providers in your Loved One's country see only what they need to do the job.
- Cookie Policy
We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in, show your first name on our website while you are, and keep the site secure. Only if you accept when we ask on your first visit, we also remember which sales partner referred you and run our analytics, which uses no cookies and does not identify you. We use no advertising cookies.
- Acceptable Use & Restricted Services
epono helps families with everyday, practical things. Some requests we can never take on — because they are unlawful, unsafe, or simply not what we do. If in doubt, ask your Coordinator before you order.
- Cancellations & Refunds
The short version: you can cancel for free until the work starts, and you get back everything you paid. After the work starts, tell us if something is wrong and we will put it right. This page summarises Section 14 of our Terms of Service, which prevails if there is any difference.
- epono Pro Terms
epono Pro is a monthly membership. Members get 50% off our fee in every price we set for them, and their monthly fee comes back to them as epono Credit over four completed orders a month. It renews automatically, we remind you three days before each renewal, and you can cancel at any time: you keep Pro until the end of the month you have already paid for.
- Sanctions & Compliance Statement
epono is a Canadian service company. We sell services, not money transfers. We check what we are asked to do and for whom, we keep complete records, and we do not deal with listed persons. This statement explains how — for our customers, our banking and payment partners, and anyone who wants to understand how we work.
- Loved One Terms
Someone in your family has invited you to epono so that you can see and confirm the help they arrange for you. These short terms explain what that access is and how we look after your information.
- Customer Declaration
When you create an epono account you make a short declaration about the people you arrange help for and about yourself. It is part of our Terms of Service, which explain what it means and what happens if it is not true.
